This natural was grown in the highlands of West Guji and processed in the Raro Nensebo kebele by Sookoo Coffee, a phenomenal processing company headed by Ture Waji, the beloved “King of Guji.” Ture takes time between harvests to educate farmers on good agricultural practices to help them improve quality. He also provides pre-harvest loans to farmers who need capital to produce their next harvest. The processing stations employ a ‘woman-first’ policy and the company has built a school for the children nearby.
